Introduction of stainless steel grating

There are usually two ways to make stainless steel grating. The first is the combination of stainless steel flat steel and stainless steel round steel. The second type is made of stainless steel flat steel and stainless steel flat steel. It has strong anti-corrosion performance, neat appearance and ideal decorative effect, but the price is generally higher.

1. Classification of stainless steel grating

According to the shape, it can be divided into flat type, tooth type and I type, and there are more than 200 specifications and varieties. According to different use environments, different protective treatments can be applied to its surface.

2. Stainless steel grating material

301 stainless steel has good ductility and weldability, and its wear resistance and fatigue resistance are better than 304 stainless steel. Corrosion resistance is weak and the price is relatively cheap.

304 stainless steel has both austenitic and ferritic stainless steel in common. Compared with ferrite, it has higher plasticity and toughness, and has no low temperature brittleness. Although the corrosion resistance is average, it is the most commonly used and recommended.

316 stainless steel is the second most widely used steel after 304. Because of its better resistance to chloride corrosion than 304, it is also used as "marine steel". Corrosion resistance is stronger, but the price is more expensive.

3. Manufacturing method of stainless steel grating

There are generally two methods: machine pressure welding and hand-made. The machine pressure welding uses a high-voltage resistance pressure welding machine, and the manipulator automatically places the crossbar on the flat steel evenly arranged, and press-welds the crossbar into the flat steel through strong electric welding power and hydraulic pressure, so that the welding point can be firm, High-quality steel grating with extremely high stability and strength. The hand-made steel grating is first punched on the flat steel, and then the cross bar is put into the hole for spot welding. There will be gaps between the crossbar and the flat steel, but each contact point can be welded to achieve an equivalent melting connection between the flat steel and the twisted steel. Therefore, the welding will be stronger and the strength will be improved, but the appearance is not as good as pressure welding.

4. Surface treatment of stainless steel grating

① After pickling and passivation, the surface is matt off-white.

② Electrochemical polishing, the surface is brighter and the finish is higher.

③ The finished product is heated and polished, then electrochemically polished, and finally chrome-plated to achieve a mirror effect.

5. Advantages of stainless steel grating

Light weight, high strength, large bearing capacity, economical materials, ventilation and light transmission, modern style, beautiful appearance, non-slip safety, easy cleaning, easy installation and durability.

6. The purpose of stainless steel grating

Stainless steel grating is widely used in power plants, chemical plants, oil refineries, steel plants, machinery manufacturing plants, shipyards, paper mills, cement plants, medicine, food processing plants and bridge engineering, municipal engineering projects, sewage treatment and other high anti-corrosion requirements The selection of stainless steel grating is the same as that of carbon steel grating. Due to its special properties, stainless steel grating is widely used in various factories at home and abroad.
